Where trickling blood streams in the rills,
The infernal fire turns into ashes,
Every bud of hope, fruit of innocence,

Where grumbling voices of blasts,
Subdue the echoes of bleeding hearts,
Where cupidity atrocious and eyeless,
Tramples the fair rules of morality.

The observing eyes shudder to see,
The weeping bride of liberty chained,
With iron-bands, gored and stained,
Desperate sighs knock the heaven’s Door.

A challenge to the blind Guards,
Who safeguard interests only their own,
Allowing obnoxious brute goofy pigs,
To pillage fields of the ripe crops.

Oh! The God-fearing civilized nations,
Who weep on hurting venomous dragons,
Feed hungry mice, poisonous scorpions,
Stop them staging painful murderous drama,
Lest your psalms, prayers and pilgrimages,
Should be erased from the Scrolls of Deeds.

Brilliant! You've expressed the tribulations of Kashmir in a lyrical and elegant way. It's nice to see how well you've portrayed what we read regularly in the newspapers in the form of flowing and graceful poetry.

Let's hope that the milky lands of Eden find peace soon.
