The vivid dreams come and go
Leaving me in the waking moments
So slow
Running through this life in
My head
I wince at the lack of luster
My life has taken on
This dullness
That refuses to move on
Within my eye of eyes
I can no longer see
Blinded
Pondering how this has
Happened
I've yet to fall
And I can get up
But I'm lacking
A reason
The changing tide washes
Upon the world
The curtain drops to reveal a
New season
Yet the same old me
With the fading
Reason
Have I let the meaning
Slip away
Have others simply left
Me
I'm not so driven
And my eyes continue to droop
Past the sleeping stages
This can't last forever
Though it feels like it's been
Ages
It seems like as long
As the sky remains blue
I will question what to
Do...

| You read my mind........... I've questioned what to do so many times............... sometimes life does seem to drag.......... but if anyone wants to do something different bad enough......... i guess all we can do is find a way to make it happen. Good Write!!! |
