We are more than love potions,
And speckled scattered stars,
We are forever, we are eternity,
Do not leave me, do not leave me,
My hands are white,
I am innocent.

Oh Tristan, my Tristan,
I saw the white sails
Amongst a sea of clouds.
But they all turned to black,
They turned to black.
For you are gone,
And I am here,
Singing sweet lullabies
To the lonely wind.
Come to me,
Why won’t you come to me?

We are more than love potions,
And speckled scattered stars,
We are forever, we are eternity,
Do not leave me, do not leave me,
My hands are white,
I am innocent.

Oh Tristan, my Tristan,
The king is not here
In our woodland palace
Of ivy and trees.
He is but a distant dream,
A distant dream.
For he is gone,
And I am here,
Writing woeful words
To my lamenting love,
Come to me,
Why won’t you come to me?

We are more than love potions,
And speckled scattered stars,
We are forever, we are eternity,
Do not leave me, do not leave me,
My hands are white,
I am innocent-
We are innocent.
And you are gone,
Yes, you are gone.

I enjoyed the old world feel to this tragic tale you have so poetically penned here. I could imagine it being sung in a Shakespearian type play.

Very well done

Right on, I really enjoyed watching the movie of Tristan and Isolde as well as doing a little research on the mythology. Anywho this song rightfully explains the connection between the two. Though I am not personally well inclined with talent towards writing lyrics, I can see you may be.
