[time] => 2007-01-16 03:20:12 [hometext] => It blows me away that I used to feel like this... but... on a coffee stained page... tucked away in a dusty folder... on an over crowded shelf... this is what I found... [bodytext] => When the day comes~

that you find

What once lay ahead~

now lies behind...

And, you can't remember~

when, where or how

Still, what was then~

is no longer now...

And your inability~

to for this account

Is added to the absences~

which seem to mount...

So as the recognized passage~

means little more

Then the lost chances~

to life further explore...

Leaving a sense of mortality~

unknown in youth

And you wonder if this alone~

is the final truth...

So in the final analysis, I guess, I feel qualified in saying to those who might relate,

" This too shall pass..."

What an awesome write from the heart.

We cannot help what has happened in the past.

BUT

We can learn how to deal with it.

Yes the analysis would be correct that all things shall pass such is life that we live. Well done and you continue to write wonderfully.

Kerry , Isn't it amazing what little treasures can be found. I've done this too much. Write something and find it years later. I look back at my writes from my younger years and I cannot believe where I was. Ahhh yes, time changes things, we grow, we learn.

"this too shall pass" good stuff, sis.
Peace and hugs,
Laura

Glad to see this and in turn good to see that it too has passed.

We encounter these bubbles and struggle for a handhold. Some are gifted with words and insights to pop and break the spell.

Bravo & Well Done

Peace
A

Wow, just wow. A powerful and heartfelt write here my friend. The analysis is so very true, "This too shall pass..." With time, pain heals, scars fade and burdens lighten.

Very good work.

Radical, I totally got vibes that said, 'A once future, came to be without me registering it consciously, and then left to exist with other memories in the past.' That was just my take.

You have a way with words to which I can relate.

And yes there is more, more for us to come & more for us to leave behind.

Big hugs
