As we ride by
Every second's moment
Becomes a distant memory
And in the days
That I'm not so alive
I flit past everyone
Though secretly I'm at
My slowest pace
Ever
With no one to turn to
My heart tremors
Deep inside of me
And sometimes I feel so
Completely empty
Hallow to the core's depth
And when life slows
I'm left with boredom
And life comes at me in
Delayed blows
They sting
Deep inside
But it's okay
Cause I'm still here
Waiting as the ever-hopeful
But what would happen
If I never
Died?

Very interesting contemplation, but I must admit my favorite part was your preface, as I'm sure others besides myself will concur...

as in...
" Yeah, I've had those days..."

Great job, babez!

I'd say you captured this subject well and I can relate.
Good work.

The trillion dollar question. I love it when the title answers the last line.

A recent experience with a cough syrup did the same for almost 3 days body up brain tucked in the sheets...

Perhaps with nano-technology you wont have to worry or think about it for a very long time...

Great Job

Peace
Yang

Ahhh an interesting little piece you've got here, Jazz. Well I was so into the ending and I'm contemplating the fact of how I believe we never really die...our souls live on and on...but then I'm thinking what if this body and mind never died and I lived we these memories, for an eternity. I'd like to think each time we pass, our lives get easier. I'm not sure I'd want to live forever as me....that sounds strange though...hmmm you've got my mind rolling with this one. Thanks for that.
Peace and hugs,
Laura (you are a joy to read)
