Of who I am,
Who I've become.

Falling apart.
Nothing more but
Another broken child
In the land of the free.

So messed up.
Not alive,
Just breathing.

You can't begin to understand.
I'm dying.
I cannot release these secrets I hold.

I am bi.
Mama, are you hurt?
Daddy, did I disappoint you?

Now you know.
I'm not a little girl,
My innocence lost to the world.

Corrupted
And damned.
I take this life
With my own hands.

I quit your games.
God save my soul. [comments] => 3 [counter] => 291 [topic] => 61 [informant] => lilbabe [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 8 [ratings] => 2 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => selfstruggles )

lilbabe, there is nothing wrong with self discovery and growing up to be who you are. I am glad you keep your pens ink flowing so your wonderful words of poetry keeps growing. You will always find acceptance for who you are as a person and learn how to rise above those who hinder your forward progress. Be who you are and strive ahead of others by far. I really like the message of this poem.

you shouldn't have to be ashamed of who you are. you are who you are just live life to the fullest. do what feels right, not what others feel is right. it's your mind, body, and soul. it belongs to you and no one else. your parents will love you no mater what. i'm sure they will be pround of you despite your sexuality.

PS: i think this is a great write. your out of your block.
