Memories revealed and wretched
Massacred heart strings
Broken on the floor, grasping
The recollection of you...

Screams snagged in my throat
Shameful tears burrowing down
Hands ripping out hair
As I fall to my knees, dead;
Yet still breathing shards of glass...

Plastered smile ((lie))
Denying reality;
You are not with me...
Yearning for your comfort; kiss
Me, Lover, as I descend

Into the bowels of
Self-desecration and hate...
Hold me in your arms
One last time, precious figment,

Whisper sweetly you love me... [comments] => 2 [counter] => 255 [topic] => 75 [informant] => FleurdeSang [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 0 [ratings] => 0 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => anguished )

So glad you shattered the silence. Hopefull you have stopped 'breathing broken shards of glass' for inside your lungs is not really the best place to make such beautiful stained windows but alas what is love without having faced the pains of life and loneliness?
Upon reading this piece I felt that all the way to my marrow and childhood where I first started to dance with my figments.

Bravo

Peace
Yang

Oh my sweet Stephy .. how beautifully painful and painfully beautiful, chéri.

Your author's note holds a deep, profound, assersion for me.

Love .. what a concept. But can we, as passionate souls
TRULY appreciate its power and beauty if we do not feel the pain
of loss and separation? I think not.

As always, you have breathed into life a most discerning and
exceptional write, my sweet girl. I wish you should not have
to feel the pain and sorrow that seemingly bleeds from your
words herein ..

*hugs you tight*

~Breezy
