His words draw my breath out
and i don't feel like stones
are choking me anymore
He said,
"I'll help you with all I"ve got"
For the price of a promise
I don't know if i can keep
I swallowed our sex
and tried to spit it into words
but all I end up saying
is "when does the blood stop running?"
The night whispers all of these thoughts
trying to tell me that it's bending
until it can't bend anymore
until his breath ceases to run air
The wind was so bare that night
as I cried into the road
screaming God's name
I'll scream anything if it means
I'm not alone...

Very deep poem - sad an understatement
I hope you get thru this pain writing more will at least help you understand the feelings in your heart and head ..... seeing them in black and white ...

this is a very deep felt powerful right.. you defintaely can feel the pain.. sounds like emptiness and needing to be understood and heard.. well expressed here.. great job
