I’ll risk the most vulnerable of this tender soul.
I’ll be the subject of despair when you leave me less than whole.
Endless nights I’ll wonder why I wasn’t what you needed.
I’ll look to strength you gave to me and flourish what was seeded.

I’ll realize my truth through you, although I feel despise.
I’ll phoenix from this tattered prison and gain another prize.
A wisdom that you taught me well although we ended changed.
The who I was and should have been are now all re-arranged.

I’m reborn to love again and I bless you for my pain.

Record the journey of the heart,

Oh I just loved this poem, its straight from your heart. I particularly like the line 'I'll phoenix from this tattered prison and gain another prize', its an apt description for such as life changing experience.

What a fine peice of literature this is. You have a most eliquent style. Love? eh, lol.
it'll always have it's way with our fragile heart.
As long as we crave for it, some unforseen force shall accomendate that need, wheather it come's to visit or actualy take up permanent residence in our life is another story. Lovely poem.
