My mind is blank and the stereo is on.
There are puncture holes in my arms and i am brused.
I hear voices but i do not answere.
I turn my head and i hear some one calling, asking if i want more.
I sit up and my world is spinning.
I hear a voice inside my head saying i need help.
Help.... will some one help me?
I start to run and run and i fall into familar arms.
Tears running down my face i look at the sorrow in my mothers face.
"Help me , make me better." I say.
" I cant do this any more" i plea.
" Make the bruses and holes melt away."
I now lie on a bed of happiness, not sorrow and full of sin.
I can now smile and the rings under my eyes have disapeared.
Even though the scars are still there, I now know there are people who care.
My world is no longer filled with needles, sorrow and sin, but with happiness and love.
I am drug free. [comments] => 2 [counter] => 174 [topic] => 65 [informant] => babygirlholly [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 9 [ratings] => 2 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => toughstuff )

babygirlholly, What a wonderful thing you have done here for your readers. as this is reality for many who do not have the strength or courage to seek the help they need. Yes in deed there is loving help for any and all once a user has placed the call. Thank you for giving us such a real poem of fact. More importantly, thank you for sharing yourself with all of us. Wonderful poem.

Your Dear Friend
