Black and white; the world is not
Your color for me
Is blue
Just slightly
They say 'I LOVE YOU!'
And you're stuck wondering
'LOVE WHO?'
Sleet in your way
Rain in your heart
I sit and figure
To hell with today
For I've got nothing, nothing coming
My way
I'm in my own little world
And you just might fit in
For love
For life
Let's take a ride
Round the world
Take a look at
What's real
Take a stab at
What we can feel
I sit and figure
To hell with today
For we've got nothing, nothing coming
Our way
You're in my eye
And I've gone into disarray
So sit, sit along for this side
While we expand, expand our view
So wide
So
I sit, sit and figure
While your skies grow bigger
And we realize
That today
There is no, no disguise
And the truth shows nothing, nothing
So away we go
With yesterday
Where it seemed so sensible
To sit and reason
The unreasonable...

I Love It! Right freakin' on, babez...to tell the truth, I can easily see this being put to music. I can just hear it now w/ my favorite part bein' echoed into the final riff...

"So away we go
With yesterday
Where it seemed so sensible
To sit and reason
The unreasonable...la,la,la"

Glad to see ya' back, sweetie

This is sort of a rantish poem, isn't it? Like words just popped into your head, then you wrote/typed them down? I get that. They always seem pretty good to read, mostly because they're based on pure emotion.

First very good to see your posts. This 'Stained Glass Nothing' is really something. In not knowing as in your authors note this piece does cut the breeze of the mind as razor blades more rave than rant without anger or rage or real uncertainty rather I feel a kind of acceptance. A stretching of the skin as the heart and mind within grows faster than its container.

Well Done

Peace
AJ
