How hard I tried
How much I wanted
How much I wished

You pushed
Pushed
Pushed
So much
Expecting what?
A positive reaction

I hoped
I cried
I wept
Endlessly

For you
To open
To understand
To look
To see
You were
The only
Thing
I needed

Fate chose
Sorrow
Choosing
To part ways

I chose
Isolation
Because it was
The only thing
I truly
Knew
How to
Do

My heart
Aches
My eyes
Bleed

Why?
Answer me
Does your
Presence
Hunt
With
rambunctious
Might
And savage
furry?

This world
Chose to laugh
To mock
To scorn me

I chose
To walk
To look up
And try
To move on
To see where
Life took me
What new
Path I
Had found

I ended
Ended with
A path
Filled with
You
In my dreams
In my thoughts
In my
Everything

Why
Does
Every night
End
End with
Your
Face?

Why
Does
The concept
Of your
Being
Consume
My soul?

The true beauty of this is your passion even in loss...Well done...
The secret of happiness is that is always here with us. You don't have to wait on what you thought you wanted for happiness to show up. It doesn't arrive as a result of something outside of ourselves. It is always there inside of us...smile just now and see what I mean...It is yours for the taking.

This poem honestly made me cry. You touched down on my life in such an exact way. Beautifully written. Excellent excellent job.
