May I Rest In Peace.

Drape me in a velvet veil
A rose upon my skin
Let the thorns spill my blood
Release me from within
The pulsating beat of my inner storm
A collection of clouds and falling rain
Teardrops from eyes
Diamond streams laced with pain
As I lay me down to sleep
I offer you my heart to keep
As I descend to the end
Of an eternity to weep
A hopeless romantic with broken dreams
The hands of despair tugging at my seams
Underneath a setting sun
Falling to pieces
I come undone
May my broken heart find it's rest
As I lying dying in your arms
Your name still etched across my chest
Signed..."XOXOXO...Sincerely, Me"
May I rest in peace eternally.

Wow. Very nice job here. It's full of emotion, has a great flow, and is just well written in general. I really enjoyed reading this. The words you have written here are extremely powerful.
