I do not know
what drew you here,
or why it's you
I hold so dear.
You stay with me
through thick and thin,
and cheer me up,
though sadness wins.
Aheart of gold-
what possess,
and my heart is
one of unrest.
I hurt you so,
but you stay here.
I do not know
what draws you near.
I thank you for
being here today
and apologize
for my wrong way.
I owe you more
than I can give,
for thanks to you,
I still do live.
You may not know
what you have done,
but I do know
you're a special
one.
