Tears running down my face This depression is taking over me Like a disease running through my veins A shadow of sadness and anger follows me There are bruises upon my wrist Make-up covers my emotions As Im dying inside Thoughts of suicide wont let me live Wont let me breathe Starring through darkness at nothing Anxiety wants to take control I remind myself of the guilt I hold in my heart The pain I keep within myself The blood I've shed scars me to this day I cant shake this depression Its become apart of me Apart of who I am today

Very sad but well written. Hang in there. Suicide is just a thought but you can reject those thoughts and live.
I know what depression is but now I take meds that works wonders in my life. It's called Zooloft.
Hang tuff, friend as joy cometh in the morning.
Huggs, luv, prayer,

I will mirror Ems thought and advice on this one.
Life has many hard and hurtful moments but there is always a shining light and a paved path to the happiness if you strive with all your might to travel it.

I too used to suffer from severe depression. Especially when I was a teenager. This poem is sad but it's wrote beautifully. Keep up the good work. |
