Standing in the hour of time,
I speak my words in quiet rhyme.
Dwelling some on all of life,
A Mother, Sister, Daughter, Wife.

A Mother can be strength behold,
A Sister friend, confidante of gold.
A Daughter light in worldly eyes,
A Wife no measure cuts that size.

As we move to our sacred Day,
I thank all Mothers sent our way.
Without her lessons at whatever cost.
Heavens greatest gift would then be lost.

*hugs you tightly* Beautiful write. I lost my mother at 18, I know how very hard it is. I try to think this way though....My younger sister was 6 years old when mom died....at least I had her wisdom and love for 18 years...my sister, wasn't so lucky. I think too of how many people have moms that aren't so great, again I may have not had my mother for long, but at least when I had her.....she was one hell of a woman. (I love and miss her till this day and I'm 42 now) Thank you for sharing this wonderful piece. I think my mother is my angel that follows me all the time.
Peace and hugs,
Laura

Wow oh wow what a poetic tribute my friend! An amazing job, so full of tryth and love. A powerful final line. I am sure this letter was more than well received in heaven and feel she will be looking down with deep love as she reads each line.

BRAVO!

SCM
