Generally I have a rich ,
Peaceful ,
A Contented feeling kind of week
Cause I didn't let the worlds turmoil brother me
I push them aside
I take that next step
I planted in my garden
and grinned like a Cheshire cat
And skipped lightly on my feet
When I thought no one was looking
Wore Funny Hats everyday of the week
And wore vibrant colors of green and gold
Hell I never once combed my hair
Just Covered it with
Hats!!
I simply didnt let the worlds trouble brother me
Is it selfish?
Dam straight it is!!
But every one needs a break
A time away
From the worlds and its stuff
And go to the other place
Where is as it should be.
A place for you and me
In a place thats warm, bright and filled with laughter
The joys and yearnings of childhood
Tight
In it's
Grip holding fast
Yes
Just a moment away from this crazed ole
World
Just a few minutes a way.

I hear ya.
Well done.
That's why I live in the Country. You can always turn off the computor or tv but It's hard to get away in the big Citys.
