He reveals it all to me
What I've been dying to know
The reasons for hurting
and raping my soul
Stress got the best
Made him think strange things
Needed time without us
For his own soul to sing
Chose the wrong path
Oh yes he did stray
Thought it would be fun
To go out and play
He left the heart that loved him
And paid for one that did not
Kiss and tell me good-bye
You left my self to rot
You needed something different
A change in the scenery
You pleasured yourself
totally disregarding me
I'm left here with the knowledge
That I wasn't so important
Your love was not as strong as mine
In fact I find it mordant
