What causes the most pain, they see as miniscule things
Tears begin to fall as she sits upon a satin pillow
They ask "Why?" and not wanting to tell them she answers "I dont know"
For reasons and answers her heart and mind does wander
Over what has happened recently she does ponder
A voice speaks as someone draws near
As love slightly hardens she no longer wants to hear
A friend's kind words are a welcome change
But the touch that she longs for is out of range
Not sure how much time it will take for her wings to mend
Across a wire and countless miles a friend's love her secret will send
As sleep approaches her eyes she finally does close
What once was, has become like a blackened rose
To what he has in front of him, her true love, he is blind
A child longing to be a man, his path he has yet to find
In due time her wings will heal
A promise kept will show her what is false and what is real
Her secret love no more wanting to see her in pain
As tears fall from bloodshot eyes like a summer's rain
Her secret love wanting more than what can be
And the blinders come off his eyes, and her true love is finally able to see
His gentle touch reaching to dry her raining tears and relieve their stings
And his love able to mend her broken wings

Thank you for the poem. You have no idea how much it means to me. I am so very grateful to have someone like you to be helping me through this tough time that I seem to fall back into time and time again. You are such a great friend and you mean more to me then you will ever know. You have done so much for me that to ask anymore would be worthless because though you feel like you have more that you could do, you have done everything already. I can feel your care and love just radiate from this and it makes me smile. You are a great person and never let anyone, never ever, tell you that you are not.. Thank you with all of my heart.

Take care
*hugs*
Christina

I just love ya! Your heart soars my friend..... your writing gets better and better but it is talent and comes from the heart that does it.

Bravo, and a little dance
