[hometext] => I'm curious, try to guess what I'm saying.
[bodytext] => It was a normal Sunday morning, getting ready for church
When my friend rang the doorbell and outside I looked He made me a bet to only look down I asked him why, but he said " do it now" He told me that at the end of the day I'll have learned a great lesson I didn't question him because I've known him for ages I entered the church with my head constantly down All I saw was shoes of different colors and designs I immediately began to guess who's shoes belonged to who The fancy shoes to the lawyer, the scuffed ones to the Jew And the dirty ones to the little boy who hardly ever wore shoes I couldn't stand it anymore, just looking at shoes So I rose my head high, and looked at them eye to eye I realized that I was wrong in my assumptions The lawyer lost all of his money and wore the scuffed shoes While the Jew struck rich and bought some new shoes To my surprise the little boy was still the one wearing the dirty shoes So I turned to him and asked why he wore those dirty shoes He simply turned to me and said " At least I have shoes" [comments] => 0 [counter] => 206 [topic] => 31 [informant] => letuce [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 0 [ratings] => 0 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => StoryPoetry )
