Array ( [sid] => 13533 [catid] => 1 [aid] => Mick [title] => FALLING! [time] => 2003-02-28 19:00:00 [hometext] => [bodytext] => I see myself standing on the edge
of a roof, over 100 stories high in the air.
My arms are outstretched like they would be
if I was standing on a high diving board.

I am taking deep breaths and my heart is racing.
I close my eyes and try to think peaceful thoughts
which never come, to clear my clouded mind.
But my thoughts won’t quit.

With my mind flooded with emotions so that
My head feels like it is spinning, the number one
question I keep asking myself is “Do I really
want to do this?”

I feel fear grip me and then uncertainty, but only
for a fleeting second, until I manage to shake it off.
With a sudden surge of pride and courage from within,
I proclaim, “Yes, I want this with all of my heart!”

I quickly step forward and then off of the building
and into the air, much like a swan dive.
With a smile on my face, I know for certain that
I’ve done the only thing I possibly could have done.
You had left me with no choice.

What is it that I’ve actually done?
Well, I have jumped and fallen
head over heels madly in love with you,
And into your open, waiting arms,
where my salvation lies!
