I am welcomed once again, by natures warm embrace
A knapsack holds the offerings, some paper and a pen
With hope I walk in search of, some healing once again
Sombrely this morning,I stroll with heavy sighs
As to the ferny growth,I cast my misty eyes
Like a teardrop in the ocean,I am lost within the depths
Of the beauty and tranquility, here on natures breath
I turn my face to catch the breeze, cool and still of dawn
Then rest myself beneath a tree, with tired heart, forlorn
In awe of wonderous beauty, that surrounds and covers me
Here is where I feel at home, the safest place for love to be
Beside the pond I place the offerings, the sandalwood incense
And sit to pen a thousand thoughts, until I am content
The sun is now undressing me, as her heat consumes my skin
Pouring herself into my pores, warming the soul within
Among wildflower splendour,I lie my body down
Bare skin to earthy goodness, sense of belonging found
Thoughts now flow freely, like the nearby trickling stream
As I blend and become as one with this paradisic theme
Before the setting of the sun, before night comes creeping in
My heart will dance to summers song,and warm the soul within [comments] => 5 [counter] => 155 [topic] => 27 [informant] => LovingWhispers [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 10 [ratings] => 2 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => NaturePoetry )
