But we are getting out of touch.
Things aren’t the same as they used to be.
We are drifting apart, you and me.

I love you girl, you know I do,
But I find it hard to deal with the things you do.
You say that you’ll stop, you say that you’ll try,
But I don’t think I’ll fall for that lie.

I love you girl but do you love me?
Is this just another catastrophe?
I have had my share of knocks and blows,
To be honest more than you’ll ever know.

I love you girl but is that it?
Should I call it a day? Should I quit?
We often don’t see eye to eye,
So is it time to finally say goodbye?

I love you girl, more than anything else,
There is nothing I wouldn’t do for you lass.
I love you more than any other
But you don’t feel the same, more like I’m a brother.

I love you girl, I want to be yours and you to be mine.
But I should’ve seen it coming, should’ve read the signs.
Anyway,
I guess its over.

Aaaaaaaaaaawwwwwwwwwww that really pulled at me, the repetition of the "I Love You Girl". Sounds like you deserve something better. Be Happy....sometimes it is hard taking that giant step (god do I know that) *rolls eyes*...but I wish you well on the journey of love.....and damn is it ever a treacherous road.

Much peace,
Laura
