Im sitting here smoking a cigarette
with you on my mind.
Theres noting I can now do about
our quarrel.
The telephone wont help me say
Im sorry.
I need to look into your eyes and say
Im sorry.
Im sorry for the hurt I gave you
last night.
Darling, I sorry for the anger I
showed you.
This is heavy on my mind as I
smoke my cigarette.
I want to tell you that I love you
more than life.
I want to tell you that youre the
world to me.
I want to meet you again and erase
hard feelings.
I want to hold your hand and ask
forgiveness.
Cant we start over as though this
had not happened?

sadly beautifully written, exquisite as ever, i must say i am delighted and shocked to see you write of something like this, your poetry is usually so different, and may i add it is fabulous to know this side of you, thank you for sharing, i do wish you well my friend and heres hoping you are happy again:)
