Have you ever felt the soft emerald grass
As it folds around you like an loved ones touch
Have you ever gazed upon a infinate blue sky
Have you ever smelt the cool sweetness of a summer breaze

I have...but no longer does paradise dwell here
it was the sins of man that were brought to this place
they stained the ground with there blood
and imprisoned tranquility with there hatred
they have cursed this place with there presence
and raped this land of its beauty

but I dream of a different world

A place where beauty is abundent the world over
A place where the harsh seas softly caress the ivory sands
where the suns warmth cradles us all and lovingly embraces her children
And where the sweet breazes of the seasons gently kiss your cheeks
a place far from the prying eyes of man and the cruel malice of his mind
this place i have found, this is paradise...as far as the eye can see [comments] => 2 [counter] => 197 [topic] => 48 [informant] => Immortal-Dragon21 [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 10 [ratings] => 2 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => EmotionalPoetry )

My goodness, I felt this to be a wondrous write in honor of nature. Is this not a poem of your love for nature and the horrid things our fellow humans can do to destroy her? Oh...that is where it took me. Save for some spelling errors, I thought this a wonderful write.
Thank you for sharing.
Peace,
Laura
