[title] => Tears of the Rose
[time] => 2007-08-01 10:38:16
[hometext] => This is one, i came up with a little time ago for a love of mine, her being the rose, Hope you Enjoy...
[bodytext] => An elegant Rose, making its way above the rest, reaching for the light of day, showing Its true beauty to the world, offering a beautiful feeling inside others. The thorns that should surround its beauty, showing strength and protection from its surroundings do not exist; to be striped of these thorns is to be without confidence in itself. This particular Rose is special from the rest, its thorns torn from its stem, time and time again. Yet it keeps its confidence, and acts as if it never lost them, petals still full of life, still bright red… Clipped from the bushels of roses and laid aside to die, with no hope, yet not a tear is shed from this Rose. Time passes on, yet it does not change, but remains waiting, silent from the world, waiting for that someone to find it, and understand the beauty that fills this being. To come across such a Rose is to become rich, to posses this Rose is to become spoiled. I pick this Rose from the dark desolate floor, brushing the layers of dirt that lay upon its beautiful petals, calling it my own. I cherish this Rose, making sure it is always noticed, and helping its beauty remain, for I have had nothing to do with making this beautiful Rose the way it is, I simply kept it going, not wishing it to change, but to remain as it is, and should be. loveing this Rose, keeping an eye on it always. Its thorns have grown back now. Yet it is still soft and lovelier than ever, I will always take care of it, as long as my being allows me. For it is mine, and mine alone. It will always be the most beautiful Rose of all, and shall always remain in my heart [comments] => 3 [counter] => 229 [topic] => 2 [informant] => SoftHeartedAB [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 10 [ratings] => 2 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => LovePoetry )
