Beat with approval

The telephone
Brings joys
Of mindless conversation
Unanswered questions

Thoughts can only break
Weaving through your hands
Until colors shapes and people
Melt into one another

A final pull, slap, rip

Definite enough to make life

A gentle stroke
Hair, cheek, blade
Hair, cheek, blade
Delicate enough to make skin
Crawl with affection.

Turn to sleepy days

Expressive but a tad muddled
