Oh my I spilled the milk
Oh my what now?
Cleaned by hands that feel like silk,
What will I tell the cow?

Don’t step on the crack
Watch it now, watch where you go
You'll break your momma's back.
Oh my, I am worried so.

Don't bite that hand
It’s the one that feeds you, you know
Food isn’t it really grand!
Treat that hand kindly; appreciation you must show.

Out of the mouths of babes
So young with such wise things to say!
I can’t believe that came from you
You say things in such a startling way.

You know money; it doesn’t grow on trees
I don’t believe easy come, easy go
Work so hard…to pay those fees
Where this saying came from nobody knows.

A stitch in time
You know the rhyme
If you do it just right
It surely will save you nine.

A penny saved is a penny earned
But that seems not quite so much
From this parable lots can be learned
I hope for more of the Midas touch.

Throw that salt over your shoulder
Superstitions I think that’s what it’s called
Maybe your luck will change
Then you can live with confidence a little bolder?

Better to give than to receive
Give all from your heart. Is it Alms that you give?
Do you give so that all eyes will see?
Be sure you give with not a heart to deceive.

Hell hath no fury. I think we all know.
It’s about a woman scorned.
Why did it all turn out that way?
It’s where lots of tears seem to be born.

You can lead a horse to water.
But what do you think?
Is there a good chance?
Will you make him drink?

While the cats away
The mice will play
Well shame, shame on you
Is that really the right thing to do? Hehe

You can feed a man,
But better if you teach him how to grow a field
Show him how to grow his own
Against poverty he will have a shield!
Isn’t it better when a man is shown!!

Scratch my back and I’ll scratch yours.
Of this one I’m not too sure
What do you think? This one sounds not too pure.
Is there opportunity there in store?

So many catch phrases, adages, and, sayings.
Jingles and lines that make the ears tingle.
One liners that catch you, these are but a few
I hope it gave you a chuckle or a giggle or two.
