slowly but surely,
as you knock on my door...
its time...this time
to face the reality of it all.

My palms get sweaty,
as I go ahead and open the door
in disguise as I look into your deep dark eyes.
You take me in your car
and drive us to that place
where we once enjoyed the open space.

As the sun goes down
and the moon shines into the dark sky,
you pull me closer and say
"Its time...this time, I really must go".
"No you cant, this time". I say
but I know that I can no longer hold you back.
"You know I will come back for you" you say.

And as you take me back into my dark old place,
I give you one last deep long kiss,
and hold you in my arms and breathed in your scent.
And as I see you walk away from me once again,
I say, " Its time... this time"
the only thing left for me to do now is, wait his return. You have left me with that feeling of lonesome as you watched him walk away. That feeling is striking and one I have known more than once. Do let me know if he has returned?? I hope so. We have some catching up to do.
