I have no use for ambiguous comfort
or a misguided sense of chivalry
from another knight in rusted armour
The last one left me jaded.
Cute and coy, you're such a lovely toy
So damn pretty on the outside
that your festering heart goes unnoticed
until the present gets unwrapped.
I'd rather eternally wallow in my darkness
than drown in your cesspool of trivial thoughts
You're just another thorn in my side
An insignificant negligible presence
Cast aside, now you're another has-been
With "romance" I could never be bothered
Suppose I have a short attention span
I get my true kicks from high above
Showered with True Love
