In the darkened kitchen
There we stood
Giddy from the alcohol
Our bodies close together
Our arms wrapped in a hug
My heart began to quiver
My mind began to race
As you gently lowered
Your lips to mine
And took my breath away
Your kiss was soft and sweet
A morsel of heaven
Savored in my mind
I close my eyes
And wish that moment

Very sweet poem. What a feeling when that first kiss starts. It lingers in your mind forever. Very well put into words.
