A White Rose

Oh to you my beloved
I would give a red rose bouquet
For certainly that is the love
That moves me today

A destined and abiding love
Intensely passionate and deep
An unconditional love
I forever keep

But you are an angel
Of the highest order, degree
My hearts great inspiration
Loving caress of divinity

Heavens whisper of hope
My revelation of love
Promise of tomorrows
My white winged dove

So as befits an angel
A white rose I choose
A symbol of our love
Its joys, virtues

Oh white rose so elegant so beautiful
Symbol of my delight
Whisper to angels' heart
I love her tonight!
