How does one let go
if the pain never seems to end
if my mind constantly
takes these sharp turns
back onto you
and every first thought
on my mind is you
It even hurts to wake up
cause i know what the day brings
its not your voice
its not your touch
its not your kiss
and its not you
I can't move on
cause i don't know how
but i cant keep
this going
maybe tomorrow
bring me hope
i can get through it
but it's not easy

I feel your pain in this..In time you will heal..But you will not forget him/her..You learn to scope..You think of them everyday but you will feel better..

Saddness & pain will always be somewhere deep in your soul. Yet, the day will come when you can tell a story about Nick and laugh. Time will allow you to remember the good times. And that is a blessing. It will happen I promise.
Great poem, I know it hurt to write it. But writing and poetry are probably your best friends right now. I know, I have reams of writings, letters and poetry. It did help (thearpy) and I can look back into that dark era. But, I don't.
SORROW LOOKS DOWN. WORRY LOOKS AROUND. FAITH LOOKS UP.
