An old feeble women used to dwell:
So miserable she was:
So forlorn she was:
Without any loved one she used to pass her days:
With tears in her eyes and a melancholic look on her wrinkled face:
She spent twenty years of her life in what she believed:
Sitting under a stunned, leafless tree:
Because underneath that tree, there was the grave of her sun who was dead:
She believed, he 's still alive & one day he will come back;
She would water that leafless tree everyday;
So One day her son will sleep under its shade;
As there were no signs of leaves on the tree, that was stun;
Oh mighty Lord! She cries, my son might wake up because of the scorching heat of the sun;
As the sun would set she used to get worried Oh Lord! It’s getting dark & cold;
My son is claustrophobic; he’s not that bold;
She used to sob all day; she used to weep all night;
Singing lullabies to make her son feel allright;
I am here I am here, don’t worry my child;
I will never leave you alone & will always be on your side;
No need to be scared; I am here to protect you from all evils & harms;
If it gets cold; ill hold you in my arms;
As time was passing by & there were no signs of his return;
She decided to make an effigy out of the clay from the grave of her son;
To her that effigy was her little child who was dead;
Her happiness was indescribable, that her son has come back;
Now she smiled all-night & laughed all day;
All her neighbors envied, to see her laugh & play;
As time passed by she became more worried;
O Lord! My child doesn’t eat;
O Lord my child doesn’t sleep;
All day she cried, o my Lord, O my Lord,
Now she has become feebler and sobs even more;
He was sleeping soundly in his bed & I woke him up from his sleep;
Her face has now become more wrinkled & she has now become more weak;
She knew in her heart that her days on earth are numbered;
Why did I wake him up from his sweet slumber;
Who’ll take care of him, when I will not be by his side;
Who will take him in his arms, when he’d feel scared & cold at night;
She decided to make the same bed in which once his son dwelt;
Alongwith her beloved son she lies in that bed;
She is now no more & has had her last breath;
Holding her beloved child firmly in her arms so he’d not feel frightened & cold at night;
A year has been passed & that stunned tree has become shady; to protect them both from the
sun’s scorching light...

A sweet story, though the spelling errors slightly slowed down the reading. It was strong, and help fast to the story, it was a good poem.
Take care,
David
