wishing, longing, hoping for a tomorrow
that; is not part of this lifes design
fondly are the memories of
happier times, remembered with a
tear; down my eye alongside a smile
if i could turn around and know
again, a breath of wonder so sweet
closed; would be these eyes and this heart
would sing.

| Longing for what once was, for what could have been...that mimics my every poem it seems. Great job on this one! Remember, hindsight is a sheep in a wolf's clothing, we remember only the good moments and make the bad seem less than. |
