Bitter

When I looked into your eyes, you turned your head and looked away, telling me that I'm always bitter when you never looked at me when I smiled and when I tried to hold your hand - you yanked it away and times I could see you you made excuses to get away...
And you still say I'm bitter and still I'm not surprised and neither are you when I turn my head and look the other way.
As music plays just like the rhythm of life; with the beat of love and the screams of hate, silence of depression and the sadness when it ends.
Pain that turns numb and anger that succumbs to a few words that merely express the mess that all have become.
When the time comes, it will leave like Autumn and the hope will cling like babies to mothers... for a better tomorrow!
Chances are wasted like a genius locked in a small room, to never experience everything that life could be,
but not for long will I be, I'm not bitter anymore, you see.

I totally relate to this write. This is often how the relationship ends, and I have been there too many times. I like your choice of words, and though the ending was a little strange, overall I really liked it. Good write! |
