Who wears the wrong clothes
Who talks too much
Or not enough when it matters
I’m just a girl
Who forgets to laugh
And smile sometimes
Even at a joke
I’m just a girl
Who forgets her own name
And blushes for no reason at all
I’m just a girl
Who doesn’t wear a mask
That covers who I am
Inside
And that’s why I can live
Because I know there’s something more
And that’s why I can cry
Because I think it matters
That’s why I can dance in the rain
Because I just believe that rain are our dreams
In sparkling shells
And if you carve that into the hard wood of life
It’s kind of funny how it turns out
Cause what you get
Is me
And all I can ever be

I love these kinds of self-affirmation poems, probably I didn't always have the confidence to write them. Have at it, rain girl ;)

she sounds like someone that people will love for who she is.
