I loved you from the moment
You glanced in my direction
The moment that I saw your pain
And felt a deep connection
I knew you were a part of me
A part of my lost soul
I knew you were the ending to
A story never told
Now the days turn into lonely weeks
There is nothing left but time
I am left with only memories
Of how I used to call you mine
I cried the day you left me
Everyday afterwards, and still
I let all the hurt inside of me
Continuously kill
I knew you were the end to me
The remainder of my soul
I knew there was nothing left to
A tragic story never told
Now the months turn into endless years
I don't have a thing but time
And there's nothing even left of me
But how I used to call you mine

Liked this one a lot. Especially toward the end. The last lines are powerful, which I think is important for closure and concludence of a poem. Although the ideas brought forth by the word "kill" seem particularly stark... maybe too much so. it didn't seem to entirely jive with the rest of the poem's content. Good job though!
