Array ( [sid] => 139726 [catid] => 1 [aid] => mick [title] => alright. time to start over. [time] => 2008-01-11 08:58:07 [hometext] => come out of the darkness. drop the knife. say goodbye to isolation. and say hello to a new day....a new beginning. [bodytext] => Powerless mountains
Gurgling lakes
Haunting revival
Lifeless stakes

No beginning
Trying hard
The doors of my heart
And me standing guard

No one comes in
Nature isn’t aloud
It’s too beautiful for me
God should be so proud

He spoon fed his believers
And I count myself as one
He tries to push down on me
But my life has just begun

No horrific plans
No thoughts to charm the day
No time for a revolution
Color turns to gray

I open up the curtains
I stare out at the sky
The trees are calling to me
Should I say goodbye

I walk out into God’s creation
Hoping to catch a glimpse of fate
The new day raining down on me
Nature’s a language I can translate

Knife dropped
Hard wood floor clicks
I’m out of solitude
The pain that it inflicts

Shun away the dark
Run away from me
I can always start over
No reason not to flee

Anguish in acceptance
Brilliance in Stupidity
Harm in such Protection
Life in mortality

Smiles inside depression
A plan inside a whim
Revenge in his passion
Anger inside of him

Beginning after the ending
Selflessness in his conceit
Running into a stop sign
Admitting to your defeat

The start of your bad ending
To defeat the irrepressible
Smile at the face replacement
You can’t trigger a stumble

It’s hard at the easy beginning
Seeming so lifeless in your life
Redeem the irreplaceable
Then kick out the strife

Easier it’s coming
Faster you change
You’re a new person
Because today’s a new day

It's wonderful to know that each day you have yet another chance to continue your creation of who you chose to be...and yes how we grow from each and every bump and curve on the road of life that we collect. Good inspirational write.
