Light touch
means so much
I want to be closer
I want to draw near
Quiet approach
to a closeness of a body
meaning to be next to you
isn't close enough for me.
But let me touch you
no matter how light
and happiness will be easier
for me to find.

Overreacting
to the touch of your head
to the brush of your lips
against my injured eye
to the reaction from you
after my playful violence
to the hugs that follow
the "fighting" of our nature
to your teasing around others
but your soft speech when alone with me

Forbidden like
of your amazing person
leads me only
to like you more.
