[hometext] => Read this while watching Collateral at night while listening to distant City rumblings and trains off in the far far distance.
[bodytext] => The Hum of City sounds From the Window They scream calling All my Painful Memories In my head Like forest These painful memories Are the Hounds Its Night And I am all alone The unknown Dying questions weigh the millions Like bricks Im buried beneath So many pounds The stillness I shall never get over Life moving In each and all directions Yet somehow it tings hollow My words are breathing yet again Alive And they struggle to explain Is this why we should exist To replace hollowness with purpose A reasonable voice To explain away all the silence To make it out of here With our hope in a choice And to give meaning here Wherever there is never any to be found? Whenever I am sitting here In silence With the hum of City sounds [comments] => 2 [counter] => 241 [topic] => 48 [informant] => Onslaught [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 5 [ratings] => 1 [editpoem] => 0 [associated] => [topicname] => EmotionalPoetry )
