Took me a long time to get here
Now I just stare

Dumbstruck by the emptiness I see in her eyes
shallowness behind her smile
heart hardened with walls all around
words dripping with ice

Surrounded by darkness
inside and out
captured by responsibility
caged by contentment
bound in chains
of lovelessness and resentment

I wipe away the tears
as it clouds the vision before me
I had to face her some time
the person I use to be

I stand staring
face to face with her.
Took me a long time to get here
Now I just stare

Dumbstruck by the emptiness I see in her eyes
shallowness behind her smile
heart hardened with walls all around

Its good that you did...

Its like 'Whoa thats me?'
Sometimes it hurts..
But you have to..
