The fireplace burns with a radiant glow
An outside wind, blows hard as it shifts
We peer from the windows, amidst the snowdrifts

With two glasses of wine, and terrycloth robes
My tongue at your neck, where slowly it probes
Your breath draws heavy; it’s hot on my cheek
And my heart races near an unbearable peak

The dinner for two had been nicely prepared
I slip the robe off your shoulders, leaving them bared
In the background is heard, the sound of smooth jazz
With your hand stroking mine, as it previously has

My lips caress you and seek still more skin
I’m unable to speak as I tremble within
These fingertips trace the curve of your arms
And I’m lifted in spirit, while lost in your charms

The room air is scented of perfume and pine
This totally coincidental, and not by design
My minds’ in a fog, from my head it might clear
And I look in your eyes, as I draw you still near

For it’s getting to you, which I cannot refrain
A need builds within me; and I will not abstain
Our shadows reflect, as they dance on the wall
The robes have come loose, and now taken their fall

It’s down to the rug that we start this embrace
And just like before, there goes the bookcase
The bears’ hair is strewn on the floor all about
And we cling to each other, as the candles burn out

Our music had stopped several moments before
The only sound now, is the wind at the door
We kiss ever gently and fall off to sleep
Beneath a warm blanket, this night we will keep
…in our dream

Wow! That is a nice dream, and great imagery! Except now I feel like a sort of voyeur, lol.
