i love this.

being a daughter of divorced parents, and my mom nearing the end of her second divorce... i can understand.
in divorce.. you say and think things you normally would've. like any 'traumatic' event. sometimes saying it in writing, is better then actually speaking...

divorce is full of contradictions.. and flat-out lies.
i like how you showed that... 'you said this, but meant that' sort of thing.

sorry for your loss.
writing's a good way to deal. =]

People often don't realize/understand that men can be the ones being abused in the relationship. Abuse is an gender equal problem. This poem is very well written. Good luck with your divorce. ~Sara

A sad write, so sorry to hear these things. Been there done that and I do agree abuse comes in all forms and from all directions. Hope things get better for ya. Keep writing!
