LoveRemembered
|
Basking in the shadowed moonlight She lies crippled next to the shore While droplets of salty tears trickle down her cheeks And her mind ventures back to years before.
Memories softly touch her darkened mind Encasing her soul with their heated pain Bounding the heart with their deadly grasp Still mourning a love she shall never have again.
The oceans ripples gently wash over her feet Offering a release for her shattered heart But her soft hands hold tightly to her tears For the sake of a promise and a love she will never depart.
