Your Words

SultryRose's Signatures

I'd been awake for 24 hours
fighting sleep my soul took over,
Didn't have a clue
of what would ensue.

Half asleep, Silent,
My soul said it's prayers.
Lord watch over my chidren,
Their loved ones here-n-there.

Spoke not names
As god knows my soul.
with that in God's hands
Off to dream land I'd go
I surrendered
to never, never land.

Now sweet Jesus knew
Of what encountered
thru-n-thru.
When that log truck
Pulled in front of Mike,
his papaw, his Dad's Mom.

Totaling the car
that Connie drives
Each-n-every one shook up
But amazingly Alive!

Thank God for keeping me alert
to think my prayers.
they had 2 concussions,
one broken arm,
Mick scratched but amazingly un harmed. [comments] => 9 [counter] => 315 [topic] => 43 [informant] => emystar [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 15 [ratings] => 3 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => oops )

Your words remind us there are defineately angels watching over loved ones.
We get that second chance to let them know how precious they are to us.
