Array ( [sid] => 14261 [catid] => 1 [aid] => Mick [title] => Encouraging Numbers [time] => 2003-03-14 01:20:00 [hometext] => This is encouraging although the numbers can't actually be counted. Only God knows how many workers it takes for one soul. [bodytext] => Four thousand, ninety-six souls in one year!

One working for workers,
despite the fear...
gain a soul winner per month
by calling those who will hear,...
who will also call those
from among their peers.

Eight million,
three hundred eighty-eight thousand,
six hundred eight
by the end of year two!

What a Christian Army like that could do!

I can't figure too far,
but thats more than a few!
My life has been changed
by this new view.
Come with me, Friend!
The Lord is calling.
There's no wisdom at all
in excuses and stalling.
Use what skills you now have
when God's love you're telling;
God shows the way
to those who are willing.

Bless me, Lord,
so starved hearts I can win.
I will thank You, Lord,
whether its one or ten.
I'd rather go forward
than sit still like I've been.
I know it can be done
as long
as You're with me.
Amen!

Your comment was lovely, a nice addition to the message of my poem. Yes, I do see similarities in our thoughts and faith, although they have quite different cultures. Our God has created beauty everywhere. Bizzy
