Our time is so confusing lately these times are so wicked our lines so twisted we barely make sense out of anything
head down confused lost in the light the mall or in your own home
passion lost with only fear to hold fear of debt loss of friends cars tvs but feeling empty all the same
we have insurance on our wife the dog the car in the garage everything has a price but nothing gleams of love
empty in our ways stumbling backwards always lost stepping on others toes
karma has backfired its lost its touch we are all chasing wrong hopes and dreams
looking for to many answers in shallow questions wanting flash not warmth
common mistakes we are only human cant judge for i fall myself
i have lost myself for 34 years now from open eyes i was always lost and confused by you
your anger your stupid racial words destroying each other over land thats not even yours
killing for fun and glory and then make movies about it the masks you wear scare me
your greed lust and love of death baffle my mind where is love in this world of commercials and sex
where is the kindness that you only see in movies people caring for strangers
where is your heart
