Have you ever felt the warmth
that lingers on the land after the sun goes down?

Have you ever marveled at the colourful seashells
left on the shore
following the recession of the tides?

Have you ever been left in awe
long after the band stops playing
but the music continues to echo in your head?

Have you ever felt that warm tingle
long after your lover has kissed you goodnight?

If you have, then you’ll realize that
After any joyful event
Something beautiful remains…

~~^~~

I see the definition of beautiful is our Jenni.
This left me with such peace and warmth.
You are so right........ It is the beauty in things I have been striving to cling to these days.

Hugs

Michelle

Jenni,

I love this one. I'll bet this will inspire me to write something along these lines in the future.

You're right...something beautiful does remain.

Thankyou for opening my mind more.

Excellent write.

~Stephan
