Peering out Hell’s window I see
Many people searching for remnants of me
Questioning if I was a sinner or a saint
Why must there be any debate?

For most people I have always tried to do good
Though I have left some dead in the streets of the hood
So what is it you are desperately seeking to find?
Why must you dissect what is left of my mind?

Desolation and despair I see from my view
I understand why I am here. Do you?
So I am set to wander the rest of my days
In this world that is continually ablaze

Two things come to mind as I read this...
1... I don't have to question it..I know you are a saint....lol
2... I am still trying to find out why I am here...lol...

Interesting write, DW.... Gives me food for thought....
Hugs
Jenni

Everyone is a sinner, we were born sinners so you cant be a saint

But in some peoples minds you were a saint but truely you were not, the poems seems like you are sorta in anguish

I would say you are a saint, a wonderful man and poet to name a couple.

I also say I shall find my dusty club and pop people who think they need to dissect anything *grins*

Incredible write.
Ya know I mirror Jen I asked someone last night
what is my purpose? Is it going in the air or something?

Hugs and Happy fourth

Michelle

Great write Dead. Many thoughts
came to mind as I read this one.
Love these lines

For most people I have always tried to
do good
Though I have left some dead in the
streets of the hood

I think this was quite well structured, you followed your rhymes quite nicely and managed to produce an engaging write. The underlying theme was told with a certain level of subtlety (well, maybe not subtlety as much as abstract) as well that made it interesting. Well done.

Interesting write. You did a very good job with it...it is serious in nature with a hint of humor. You have asked question that I think plague us all. You did a brilliant job as always. I hope all is well and that you were able to enjoy your 4th.

Rich

people that do not accept you for yourself are not worth the time of day, that's why they make doors, so you can tell them sweet parting words like don't let it hit you in the @#! lol

hugs n' love nessa
